Add Mamaroneck News Corruption in Mamaroneck Posted on: 2010-03-19 So what are you supposed to do when you pay your parking meter and still receive a violation for $20 which requires you give up a day's pay to go fight it in court? You pay it. And move on. This has been the case for our family in three incidences within the past year where we have paid the meter in Mamaroneck, triple-checked it and returned to find a ticket on our windshield. Clearly the Village Court of Mamaroneck and the parties working to support it know what they're doing. While the daily cost of the meters has increased by more than 100% just this year, apparently that is not enough. When those in uniform are acting unethically, how do teach your children to grow up to be a good law-abiding citizens? To the individual officers carrier out these despicable acts of dishonesty, take a look in the mirror. It is your job to act as role models and uphold the law. Shame on you Anonymous in fear of retaliation of our car.
